On Monday, August 2, 2027, the path of totality crosses the Strait of Gibraltar, putting Tarifa, Ceuta and Melilla, and Tangier in the shadow. In Tarifa, totality lasts about 4 minutes 40 seconds.

We’re planning eclipse gatherings in Tarifa, southern Spain, and Tangier, Morocco, for the total solar eclipse on August 2, 2027. We’re developing accommodation options and opportunities to meet other eclipse enthusiasts, explore, and enjoy the experience together.
